Benefits Of Complying With EHS Regulations
Compliance can come from behavior-based safety practices. In other words, incentivizing all employees to watch for hazards and to find solutions to fix them can create a healthy and positive environment. An obvious benefit is an empowered workforce with staying power to keep production flowing.
Increased Production
When working within the compliance guidelines, production halts can be minimized, thus adding to your bottom line. Safety is vital in keeping production flowing by reducing incidents and injuries. Compliance can help ensure that there will be less need to waste time and money.
Industry Reputation
You work hard to market your business and be the best in your industry. A healthy reputation can take years to build. With intentional efforts you can avoid damage to your reputation stemming from safety and compliance issues.
Reduced Fines
State and Federal regulatory agencies may come knocking on the door. When they do, rest assured that you have intentionally created a work environment that is safe and in compliance.
Reduced Insurance Costs
Much like a safe driver benefits from lower car insurance rates, your business can benefit financially from a compliant and safe work environment. Enjoy less injuries and less stress on your team and your bottom line.
Avoid Criminal Charges
Some compliance violations are serious enough that company management can be held responsible in a court of law. Written programs, employee training, and internal facility inspections/audits can show evidence of intentional efforts to comply with the regulations and help avoid criminal charges.
Longevity In Employees
Reduce turn over with happy and healthy employees who feel valued by an employer who keeps their safety top priority. Hiring new team members and properly training them is part of doing business and can help keep them longer, which in turn provides a better return on investment.
Address Risks With a Workplace Safety Plan
No matter your industry, it is beneficial to develop written Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to address all work-related hazards. This concept applies to the health and safety of your employees and patrons as well as the environment, focusing on specific hazards to meet legal and practical requirements. ESCC Inc. offers peace of mind when it comes to your job-specific safety requirements, including regulatory compliance at all levels.

COVID-19 Preparedness Plan
All employers and places of employment are required to establish and implement an effective written COVID-19 Prevention Program (CPP) pursuant to an Emergency Temporary Standard in place for COVID-19 (California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 8, section 3205(c)).
Employers can create a written CPP by incorporating the required elements into their existing Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP). Cal/OSHA encourages employers to engage with employees in the design, implementation and evolution of their COVID-19 Prevention Program.
Let ESCC work with you and your employees to help incorporate the required content into your written IIPP or help you write a stand-alone COVID-19 Prevention Program.
